"We were on the roof of America and all we could do was yell, I guess - across the night, eastward over the Plains, where somewhere an old man with white hair was probably walking toward us with the Word, and would arrive any minute and make us silent."
-Jack Kerouac
On the Road
Thinking | engaging | embodying
The MHGS faculty strives to create an educational environment where students will think critically and creatively, engage authentically and relationally, and embody a synthesis of text, soul and culture that moves students outward into the larger community and the church.  Through an integrated and intentional process of formation, students are invited to pursue life-long learning, personal and spiritual growth and productive and meaningful citizenship that will reflect the presence of Christ in the world.

Culture Tomorrow 2010
Culture Tomorrow 2010 is an institution wide initiative, begun in 2007, to aid the MHGS community in addressing the question, "How do we engage difference at MHGS?"

For a basic explanation of the initiative you can review this document. A chart that provides a timeline, an overview of learnings, and strategies for our future, is available here.
